What Happens to the Machines After Restoration?

Every pinball machine restored through Restorative Pinball gets a second chance – just like the people who worked on it. Once a machine is brought back to life, one of three things happens:

1. Sold to Support Our Mission
Some restored machines are sold, with proceeds going directly back into the nonprofit to fund tools, mentorship, and recovery-based programming.

2. Placed in the Community
Select machines are placed in local businesses – coffee shops, barbershops, and community centers – where they spread awareness of our mission. Each machine features a small sign that indicates the machine is “Brought to you by Restorative Pinball,” with a QR code inviting people to learn more, donate, or get involved.

3. Retained for Events and Programs
Other machines are kept in our inventory to support sober community events, pop-up fundraisers, and skill-building workshops. These machines serve as ambassadors of our work – sparking connection, joy, and conversation wherever they go.

Together, the machines we restore help keep vintage pinball alive – and carry our message into the world, one game at a time.
